Steffes Competes in Dancing For Special Stars

As a part of our ongoing partnership with Special Olympics North Dakota, Steffes competed in their largest annual fundraiser, Dancing For Special Stars on Tuesday April 9th in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Our very own Stephen Dusold, Vice President of Manufacturing Excellence, was our “star” along with his professional dance partner Sammi Larson performed in a “The Greatest Showman” themed routine. 

This fundraiser consists of “stars” from local businesses in the Grand Forks and volunteer professional dancers that team up and compete in a Dancing with the Stars style competition. Part of the competition is a contest of which dancing team can raise the most money for Special Olympics North Dakota. 

Thanks to our generous employees and business partners that supported us, Steffes brought in $9,141 for a great cause in our community that changes lives for those with intellectual disabilities and empowers them through sports.

Steffes strongly believes in giving back to our communities and helping charitable causes. Our Grand Forks employees chose Special Olympics North Dakota as their adopted charitable organization to consistently partner with to volunteer our time, talents, and financial contributions.

Thank you to Stephen Dusold for his leadership and volunteering his time to represent Steffes in this competition even though it was outside of his comfort zone!
