Air Handler
The Steffes Air Handler interfaces with the Comfort Plus Hydronic heating system and provides the ability for a single system to provide both radiant hydronic and forced air heating (or cooling). A common application is a residence where in-floor radiant heat is desired on the lower level or basement and forced air heating/cooling in the upper levels.
- Provides option for ducted heating and cooling with Comfort Plus Hydronic Unit.
- Accepts up to 21-1/8" X 21-1/8" X 22-1/2" (WXDXH) Coil (up to 4-ton on most models of Heat Pumps or Air Conditioners. A 5-ton option is also available).
- Provides Static Heat Recovery when connected to Comfort Plus Hydronic unit.
- Accepts up to 2" thick air filter, 20" X 20".
- 60,000 BTU hydronic coil (heat exchanger) included.
- Factory pre-wired to interface with Comfort Plus Hydronic control logic and output temperature sensing. No additional electrical components required.
- 1/2 HP blower system - standard. 1/2 HP & 1 HP variable speed ECM available.
