Power Line Carrier Transmitter
The Steffes Power Line Carrier (PLC) Transmitter is used to communicate information, via the existing power circuits, to an unlimited number of Steffes 1000, 2000 and 2100 series room heating units, Comfort Plus systems as well as any other devices connected to a Steffes PLC receiver. All devices served by the same power company transformer will receive the information the transmitter sends through the power lines and will respond accordingly. The PLC control system can significantly reduce installation costs of off-peak systems by eliminating the need for additional controls and wiring. It is especially useful in multiple unit installations and projects like housing sub-divisions, hotels, motels, ski resorts, offices, condominiums, apartments and other similar installations.
