Our Production welding department is designed for custom manufacturing and production weldments utilizing MIG, TIG, and Spot welding techniques, on many different types of steels and alloys. Welded to your print and requirements with testing available per your specification. Our run sizes vary from small batches to weekly production runs of several thousand pieces.
Our Prototype welding department can compliment an early design and bring it to life in a very short time using your sample or general concept drawings.
Our Industrial welding department can build low volume large scale projects. Our welding departments are equipped with several cranes to assist in different size projects. With single piece weldments in sizes of up to 10 tons, we can fabricate and ship to your location reducing field installation costs. These large industrial projects can be built from your general arrangement drawings or our Engineering Staff can lay out your project for you.
Being technology current in today's economy is vital to any manufacturing company. At Steffes Corporation this meant adding robotic welding to our facility. The new Genesis robotic welding cell has a weight capacity of up to 5000 pounds and the head and tailstock on this machine can accommodate weld fixtures up to 12 feet in size. This new welding cell will give us the capability to weld steel, stainless steel and aluminum weldments in our facility.
