Steffes Recognized as one of the Best Places to Work

Prairie Business magazine has named Steffes as one of the top 50 Best Places to Work in the Northern Plains. The September issue of Prairie Business magazine celebrates these 50 Best Places to Work.  Companies were nominated through an anonymous employee satisfaction survey and rated in areas including work environment, employee  benefits and employee happiness. Consideration was also given to the number of nominations received per company. The top 25 small for-profit companies (99 or fewer full-time employees) and the top 25 large for-profit companies (100+ employees) were honored in the magazine.

It’s just that simple,” said Korrie Wenzel, publisher. “The businesses that truly care — about their people as well as the future of the business itself — need to understand that.  Now in the second year of hosting the Best Places to Work contest, Prairie Business received nearly 2,500 surveys nominating more than 140 companies. “Prairie Business is proud to present the 50 Best Places to Work. These businesses are showing their commitment to being great and we’re happy to tell you about it,” Wenzel said.

Steffes has been named as one of the top 25 for-profit large employers. “We are thrilled to receive this recognition for our workplace practices,” said Joe Rothschiller, President of Steffes. “We work hard at Steffes to provide the kind of culture to foster growth, learning, and excellence and strive to be the Company of Choice.
