Steffes is sponsoring and exhibiting at the 2018 Maui Energy Conference in Hawaii March 14-15.
The Maui Energy Conference attracts more than 300 energy industry leaders from Hawaii, the Mainland, Japan and Europe to exchange ideas on how to better serve customers in today’s rapidly changing power generation and delivery environment.
This year’s conference will be focused on decarbonization. Decarbonization presents innovative communities, from Hawaii to New York, with new business opportunities. The conference will explore possibilities including: voluntary and mandatory options for reducing carbon; what a decarbonized grid looks like; the utility business model best suited to reach carbon reduction goals; curtailing carbon emissions in the transportation sector; the role of agriculture in a carbon reduction strategy; and more.
Steffes representatives, including Paul Steffes, will be presenting how grid-interactive water heating and electric thermal storage technology offers a variety of solutions to the energy issues Hawaii faces, including their mission towards 100% renewable energy.
