Steffes was recognized by The Dickinson Press as a company leading southwest North Dakota in manufacturing.
Leveraging our advanced engineering software, manufacturing technology, manufacturing processes and LEAN principles we have experienced growth as the economy continues to recover from pandemic lows. Both the oil and gas segment of our business and the manufacturing sector have experienced rapid growth in the beginning quarters of 2021.
Steffes works with a variety of multinational companies as a contract manufacturer, which allows us to expand on our Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) capabilities in the energy sector using our extensive manufacturing experience and certifications.
“We do contract manufacturing for other OEM (companies),” said Manufacturing Engineering Manager Jeremy Jahner. “We build repeatable things for large customers.”
Moving forward, Steffes will continue to push for innovation and expanded automation by continuing to incorporate new equipment and processes into our manufacturing facilities.
“It’s not just products, it’s also our processes. So as our products change, our manufacturing processes have to change with that,” Jahner said. “It’s about innovation, and it’s not just at the product level – it’s at all levels of the company.”
